Whenever we hear about the REALME company we thought that it was introduced in recent years. It was started as a sub brand of oppo in 2018 in India but It was 2010 when first oppo make a company named realme which start making smartphone.
But it is also right that realme got popularity in recent times only. It was so much loved by all the consumers that it became one of the top selling mobile company till now. Now realme expanded their brand. They start to sell other gadgets like power bank, earphone, TV and other gadgets.
As it was separated from the original brand of OPPO but there are certain features like Colors OS, mobile design or vooc flash charging all are similar to the original brand. Today we will discuss some amazing facts about this company which you may never heard of.
- Realme CEO fact
You may not know that that the CEO of Realme Madhav Seth earlier worked as the Sales Director of OPPO. In fact in 2018 march he launched the oppo f 7 and two months later he became CEO of the realme. After that he launched Realme 1 as the first phone of the sub brand company.
- Realme Logo
Though the company came and launch in may 2018 but the logo was showcased seven months later November. So they took several months to publish their logo in the market which is quite unusual for a company.
- India First
The original parent company is BBK enterprise who own both the oppo and realme and the original place is China where BBK Enterprise present. But surprisingly for the company Realme they are more Indian than Chinese. They first only focused on India to expand their market. After it get popular in India, they start to expand their company in China and Taiwan.
- Rebranded OPPO product
You will amazed to know that the first phone of the realme company which is realme 1 was not made by the realme company. It was just a rebranded mobile of oppo f 7 youth edition. They just rebranded it. There have even the logo of oppo in the phone. Later they make realme 2 and become the first phone which is of original realme.
- Global Launch
Upto realme 2, realme only launched in India. But it was realme 2 pro when the phone not only launched in India but also in Indonesia. Then realme c1 which is a rebrand of oppo A3S which was sold in Indonesia and Philipins.
- First Helio P70 AI processor
It was the realme U1 which is a selfie centric phone which was the first phone which have mediatek helio p70 AI processor which was considered one of the highest powerful processor of that time.
- Cheapest Phone of the segment
Realme 3 pro became the cheapest phone which have snapdragon 710 processor. With this powerful processor you also get vooc flash charge which was also an important thing to have in mid range phone.
